Wolf Moon 2021

The first Full Moon of the year is here, and it arrives in the fiery sign of Leo on January 28th. For some of us, each Full Moon this year will come with a new lesson and for others, each may bring a challenge. Some alignments this year, such as this Full Moon, will feel chaotic, perhaps even a little uncertain and/or dramatic. No matter what unfolds for us, our power lies in detaching and remembering that there is always something greater. As long as we keep an open mind, we may just be able to find the hidden gems that the Universe has to offer.

The auspicious alignment of Jupiter and the Sun just so happens to take place at the same time as this Full Moon. Jupiter aligning with the Sun is considered a fortunate energy with fascinating opportunities from the Universe. These cosmic alignments bring a day of abundance and expansion. Pay attention to the little details and keep your focus on the bigger picture. Remind yourself that everything is temporary, and in no time will you come across the next steps necessary to fulfill your journey.

Falling in the sign of Leo, this Full Moon will carry a lively and creative energy to it. Find your form of artistic release, and let the juice from that flow into inspiring energy. Use this type of determined Leo energy to defeat anything that is holding you back and making you question things. When our vibrations are strong, like they will be under this Full Moon, it will be harder to fall victim to our fears and old habits. Make the best of every situation by tapping into your inner Leo energy and lead with confidence. It takes courage to rise up from our fears and to remove ourselves from our comfort zones. It takes an inner strength to face adversity and to look at the bigger picture.

Remind yourself that everything is temporary, and in no time will you come across the next steps necessary to fulfill your journey. Trust that where ever the light needs to shine, it will and it can shine on situations that are no longer important. Under this Full Moon there's high potential for both climaxes and conflicts, however, taking that first step may be the hardest part, but also the most rewarding.

This moon was known by the early Indigenous tribes as the Wolf Moon, as this was the time of the year when wolves would be seen hunting in packs and howling outside of villages. The wolves were said to be howling at the moon, as these intelligent creatures did their best hunting during the night.

May 2021 bring high hopes and even higher vibrations.

Namaste.
