This month's Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn radiates energy that is connected to our karma and what we need to let go of. The Buck Moon received it's name from the Algonquin Native Americans, as July was a time when the young buck’s antlers began to grow. Capricorn, the sign represented by a mountain goat climbing upward, symbolizes the journey we will embrace from this Moon cycle. As we focus on moving forward, anything that is no longer in alignment with our authentic selves will naturally begin to disintegrate.
On July 4/5th, we will be ending a two year cycle with the Full Moon penumbral Lunar Eclipse. This will be the final Eclipse on the Capricorn-Cancer axis, with the first having been in July 2018. This is the wrap up of a large energy cycle centred around family and security, as well as the balance between the feminine and masculine energies. Due to the axis this Eclipse falls on, you may feel some heightened or discomfort energy. Remember that this energy is only temporary, and is here to make you feel uncomfortable in order for you to take actions that will change this.
The effects this Eclipse will have will strongly influence the structures of the world. Something is in the process of being dismantled and restructured in order to build a more righteous and long-lasting future. As intimidating as this sounds, you can't be afraid to let it all fall down, especially if it wasn't built on solid ground to begin with.
The next couple of days will feel detoxifying. In order to assist this, our focus needs to be on letting go of attachments to people, places, or things that have caused us to transcend old patterns of behaviour. We must work towards creating connections that reciprocate our energies in order to active the cosmic portals within us.
Reaching the end of this Eclipse will feel like a deep cleanse has taken place, as lightness will follow. Your conscious awareness will be at an all time high, as this Eclipse will bring a change in perspective. This is our opportunity to recharge as it will allow us to see how much we have transformed. Remember that every ending brings a new beginning. Allow yourself to tie up loose ends in order open up a new chapter of this year.
